I just recieved my cylinder back from renic and port and am in the middle of putting it back together and curious how to set the exhaust valve sring pressure...is there a guide or a certain setting to start at then go more or less from there??? keep in mind this is an 02 RM250K2 and if the porting has any affect on the setting...
any help or advice appreciated
The '01 RM250 needs 1/4 turn tension (turned clockwise) on the spring but they have been known to change it from year to year. The manual will give you the right tension. The porting shouldn't affect the amount of tension needed.
