Compared to my 01 cr250, the 03 is overall a much better bike.
Power - good low end, strong mid, good top end power but not as strong as an 01.
Suspension - exellent rear, very good front, works real well on big hits like my 01, but feel much better better through small choppy bumps.
Handling - feels light, handles like a Honda (great).
Jetting - a little fat in the mid but close.
Gearing - needs a 49 or 50 tooth on the rear for my riding style.
Air Box - the new air box seals! junk the stock filter and replace with a Twin Air.
