03 yz250f shock

i have a shock that when it gets hot becomes stiff (sticky?) in the very initial part of the stroke, mostly on rebound. when it cools down the problem goes away. the shock has been serviced and the linkages greased. im sure this would be very rare but could the shock body be out of round causing it to grab the piston when everything gets really hot?
