I found this on the Team Green site, it's the (apparently) Pro Circuit "recommendations" for the 05 KX250....

Stock Main - 160 PC - 165
Stock Needle position - 2 PC - same
Stock Pilot Jet - 50 PC - 52
Stock Air screw - 1 1/2 turns PC - same
Oil mix at 32: 1
Above suitable for seal level to 3000 feet.

Most new bikes seem to come too rich from stock, but PC are going with more fuel delivery in every jet.... do they know something I don;t??

Is there some racer secret we should all know? :whoa:

everything i have read about the 05 kx250 seems to indicate the bike comes to lean stock and suffers from detonation.so the jetting tips pc has listed makes sense to me

I have an 05 KX250 and if you ask me they come jetted way too rich. I am running a 42 pilot, and much leaner James Dean needle. It is my understanding that the detonation problems some of these bikes have are caused by too much squish clearance in the head. I had mine checked and it did not have this problem.
