Looking for info on suspension set up. KXF450 is stock right now w10hrs on it. Just picked this bike up for cheap and have been a Honda Guy for 20+ yrs. Also never owned a 450 before but have ridden them. 5'6" 175 lbs VET A and +25 A MX rider. Previous bikes have 250fs with ProAction suspension (good) and one with TomMorgan stuff (it was not good).
1st. Bike is tall for me. Did step seat and lowered the 3 clamps already but...Need to get it lower. PC link???? Advantages/disadvantages of it. Any other thoughts? (other than leg extensions) :laugh:
Stock springs going to be ok? ProAction said maybe it will be too stiff??? Seems odd since I always went up to the 450 sized springs on my 250f's. Will be getting revalve done after I get a chance to ride it this spring.
Other than that just wanted some bike specific advice from those who have been there and done that already to save myself some time.
