I was looking for a little more power from my 450, and wanted to change the stock cams to Hot Cams Stage 1 cams, and put a higher compression piston. My question is, how is the fitment on the Hot Cams compared to stock? Do I have to plastigauge the cams? If they are off, how do I use them short of line boring my cam saddles? Also piston questions, which compression do I go with that will not decrease reliability, but give a good power increase at the same time? Right now I run 50/50 race gas (110 octane) and pump gas (91 octane) with good results. Aluminum pro exhaust, quickshot cover, jetting 170 main, raised the needle one clip position, 48 pilot, and 55 leak jet. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

I was going to get a 45 gallon drum, but the shipping to get it here is retarted. I have a buddy that gets me 110 octane I think it's Artic Cate snowmobile fuel, then mix it with pump. It's worked pretty good so far, but I would like to get some VP. Hopefully this year.
