i dont like the 07' CRF450R shroud graphics. i wish they took out the dual exhaust system( they never will). i wonder if/when theyll give the CRF450R a dual exhaust system?

Everyone was expecting FI in '07. I think they will lose market share if it's a no show (maybe a little). Not that Honda cares, but I'm personally disappointed.

I thought the predictions of FI was a little premature, frankly If Honda doesn't do it, I don't see anyone else that has the R&D to push it through before honda (as far as motors go).

I believe it is Suzuki.

The 2006 Raptor 700R has fuel injection controlled by a 16 bit ECU. :cool:

I am pretty sure the suzuki 450 quad and the Yamaha Raptor700 has EFI.
.
I heard that they are still working on it and also that they want to make sure that it doesnt fail in an example; jumping in the air..... But you would figure they have experience with it and the quads jump. WHo knows. But it looks like the rumor that Yamaha and Honda would have it will be pushed back a year. Which also means for me, I would probably want to wait a year AFTER the 1st production year if they have delayed it this much.

I'm new to motorcycles and was just curious... Why is a dual exhaust system on a bike like this considered bad?

I've heard that for the dirtbikes to have efi, that the manufacter's have to work out the problem of keeping air out of the fuel rail. With all the gas in the tank sloshing around creating air in the fuel, causing an air lock in the fuel rail makes it impossible for the bikes to run corectly during rough riding. I'm guessing the quads just dont do as much bouncing around? I know polaris, suzuki and yamaha have come out with efi quads.

Don't both the Suzuki and Yamaha quads require a battery for the FI? I doubt they want to add that weight to the bikes.

Huh? What? Where? I haven't seen these pics only the typical Yamaha blue with dorky BNG's. Where do I find pics of the white/grey Yamahas?
