12 Tooth countershaft sprocket

I ride tight NE woods.......would their be a noticeable difference dropping down a tooth on the countershaft?

Better control climbing and less likely to stall. What Hornet said. Easiest and probably cheapest mod to try. Read the archives by others who have tried it. Cheers John

Almost all of my riding is tight trails. I run a 12/49 and like it. I've never been in top gear wishing for more speed so I doubt I'll change it soon.

i put a 12 tooth front sprocket on a 220 i used to have. very good mod for not a lot of cash in my opinion, after all you have a 6 speed trans so unless you are flat out in the desert or something you're unlikely to run out of gears. give it a try if you dont like the result it wont have cost you a lot.

I run a 12/50 on my 01 CR250R,and i ride tight trails.It gives me great torque and Great low-end. It's alright for the Track,I just run a gear Higher.
