For a 125cc machine, the EXC has a little bit of torque. You can idle around on it without using the clutch. However, no 125cc two-stroke is going to have a wealth of low-end power. If you get into any sand or climb a hill of significant size, you will have to scream the 125 EXC and ride it like a 125cc two-stroke.
