Eric, I have an Athena "works" complete topend leftover from my 2002 YZ125 that I recently sold. The Athena topend had been removed and replaced by the stocker due to the Athena piston having a crack in the crown. There is no apparent damage to the cylinder. However, I have had several people interested in the Athena Kit and was wondering if that cylinder could accept the 144cc work. Is case grinding required to use the 144 or can you just bore and plate the cylinder for me? This is the European Works kit with in insert head, cylinder and power valves.

Yes the Athena kit makes an excellent platform for a 144. I've heard that FMF has contracted Athena to build 100 late model 144 kits for YZs. So perhaps FMF will also come out with a special 144 pipe.
We have to modify the cases for clearance. Price is the same as other models, $475
Thanks, Eric
