I am considering putting a set of 18mm offset triple clamps on my 2000 KTM 300mxc(stock is 20mm).Will a mid-pack,B class Hare Scrambler notice a difference in tight woods handling.Input appreciated.THX

Yep, it'll turn much better provided your suspension is set up correctly.

HeyFolks,

I just recently upgraded my 01 300EXC to the 18MM clamps and it made a noticeable difference. Turning is much more crisp.

I had ridden another 300 with the clamps and was surprised I didn't really notice much. But once on my bike with my bars I noticed a big improvement.

If you spend most of your time in tight singletrack it's a good move.

I have a similar question. Do the 200SX come with 18mm offset clamps? I have an '03 200exc with the forks pushed way up in the triples because I think it's a lazy turner. I wonder if I can swap for my friends SX triples and get a better turning 200?
