Hey Im new to this forum but my dad gave me his old enduro I looked inside the gast tank and theres some rust in it i scrubbed it out with some cleaner and a furnace brush(thats what i think its called) also whats a good way to clean my petcock, and Im gunna put a fuel filter in the connection before the gas goes into the carb also its a two stroke, i poured a little gas in by the spark plug and it started on the second kick can anyone help me by telling me what else i should do before actually riding it thanks alot

Just check all the usual stuff: lever free play, make sure the cables work smooth, especially the throttle and brakes. Clean air filter, lube chain and tighten if need be, make sure tires are good.

Thanks the tires are pretty good theyve been ridden on once and then they sat for a few years, would you know where i would be able to by a new airfilter for it its a mikuni carb thanks
