1978 dt100

Hi, I bought just bought a 1978 or 79 yamaha dt100 enduro bike. It runs great but I was wondering what kind of oil to use in the transmission?

10-40 castrol gtx is what I ran in my 1974 Dt 125. Do not use synthic oil.

Right now I have 10-30 in it will that work ok? I was also wondering what the spark plug gap should be?

10w-30 will do for now but would change to 10w-40 when you can. Plug gap should be 0.22in inches or 0.50- 0.60 in millimiters.
