1980 yz 250

Hi all new to this! i've just brought a 1980 Yz 250 it needs a bit of work and was wondering where i can find technical information as there's not such a big following here in England as there is over in the U.S and i'm having trouble getting manuals, wiring diagrams and pictures. also i may road register it does anyone know if any electrical/engine parts are interchangable with the IT250?
