1980 yz100g missfiring

i rebuilt a yz100 last year and i have not been able to figure out whats causing it to miss fire here what has been to the bike:
cylinder smoothed out
new piston
reeds
piston ring
carberator
it has yz100k and j ignition system
new spark plug for the type 2 ignition not the 1 on it
any ideas

Even though a different years parts bolt up, are they the EXACT same? I would be concerned with the cylinder being smoothed out, also. Vintage Bob

i found what was the problem it turns out the secondary coil is bad it reading 1.36 ohms instead of the 2.2 ohms
