Just picked one up from a friend, seems a little long in the gearing dept., it even has a 54 tooth rear sprocket (51 is stock). Any other area of concerns, mods, tips, tricks, etc, I should know about?? Thanks!!
I've never had one but I know someone who owns an 82 480. He says it is the best bike he owns to date. Real light, great handling, and enough power to pull your arms off. The 4 speed tranny seems a little long geared to me, but with the 54 rear sprocket it should be a little better in the woods for you. I guess these could run over 100 mph with stock gearing, but i think it is a little steep to me.
