1982 KDX 175 Muffler options

Hi, I am a happy owner of an 82' KDX 175. It's runs great but I definitely want to replace or repack the muffler. Has anyone found a suitable aftermarket replacement? The 82' has the A3 type muffler and doesn't seem to have a way to disassemble it for replacing the internal packing. Thanks for any help!

I think you have to drill out some divots to get it apart.

I finally got a new silencer for my KDX! I went with an FMF universal 2-stroke with a 1 1/8" inlet. I made a couple of brackets and paid a shop $25 to weld it up for me. It feels much more responsive to me now and weighs a few pounds less.
