i have a nice 1985 rm 125 bored and worked, my question is the rims are OEM and dull looking but not all scratched up or banged up, how would i go about get SHINE back too them, also same for the swing arm and the floating suspension link, those have black spots, how can i get those aluminum parts looking new or almost new?

You get what you pay for. Simichrome also works well and is available at most shops.

Lol @ 2strokerfun. I use 800 grit sandpaper to get through the discoloration then some 1000 grit and then some Mothers. Looks like chrome when you're done.

Pull the return spring up away from the slide then the cable should slip down and out of the slide.
