This is kind of an oddball.

I'm using the rear shocks and springs from a 1986 CR250 on an E-Modified autoctoss car. The shocks are the stock Showa. They are not working through a linkage of any sort. I am trying to get information about the actual spring rate for the stock springs. I think they are way too stiff and will need much lighter springs. I also think I need to change the oil thickness for lighter springs. Can you give me the actual spring rate and when I figure out what my ideal spring rate should be then give me suggestions on the appropriate oil thickness?
