1989 KX125 Fork Adjustment

I have just installed new fork oil seals and dust seals on my 89 kx125, I have filled them with fork oil as per the service manual (5.89" from the top) My question is, do I need to do anything with the bleeder screw on the top of the fork? Do I need to compress the forks and release the air, or should I be filling the forks to the top with oil?

Extend the forks, open the screw, then close the screw.
The fork is designed to operate with no pressure
