1990 rm250 vs 2005 rm250?

I am considering getting a newer bike.....how much of a difference is there between 15 years?

a lot, depends how much you ride and what it is worth to yeah, I would get the 05, especially these new suzuki 250's in the last few years have recieved great reviews.

Power? no comparison,the '05 has approximately 12-14 more hp.Comparing these two bikes is similar to comparing apples and oranges.

review was awesome, bike video is really cool. That bikes is probably from what they indicate the best choice. Check it out if you have high speed internet. Look for more videos.

How much power are the new RMs cranking out? The will need to be close to 50 HP to hang with the 450 4-strokes.

around 48hp...depending on jetting,atmospheric conditions,etc. versus the 35 or so from the '90.
