:bang: hello ,i,ve got a problem timing my kips valves on my kdx , i replaced the left drum valve because of gear failure, i got all the drum valves aligned by the shop manual,but with concerns to the main exhaust valve does it align a special way, the manual says nothing about this valve other than r & r i see there is a flat side to the gears,and by the diagram it shows the valve aligned with the open side facing the bottom of the cylinder,with regards to this the rack is positioned all the to the right. is this correct?if it is whats the trick to getting this aligned correctly,i have tried every thing i can,but the valve still is about 1 tooth off.thanks in advance.swampkat00
