hey im looking into buying a 97 yz 125. was wondering if there was anything to look out for with this year of bike? the price is right so probably buy it unless something major is wrong. thanks
anyways i bought the bike its in really good shape. starts first kick has lots of power. The only thing is that when you ride around sometimes when you slow down and stop its still idles too high. If i put the bike in gear let the clutch out like half way the idle goes down and levels to a good speed but then slowly idles higher. what could be wrong?
I have a 2000 and it Idles very high righ now. I think I`ll have to clean the carb. Some say it may be an air leak. Take the carb apart and clean the jets. Hope you have a manual
Clean the jets and look for air leaks in the boots that the carb fits in. Also might be a slight elevation change, that can mess with your idle a little so jetting it may be in order aswell
