1999 kx 250 crank case

hi all,
i've just bought a 1999 kx 250 and i'm rebuilding it as the bottom end bearing had gone,
the question i have is when i split the crank cases there wasn't a gasket on it, so should there be any kind of gasket on them ? (ie, paper gasket or instant gasket)

i think kawasaki uses a instant non drying sealant like yamaha bond
for the 2002 model they recomend kawasaki bond - silver. 92104

hey mate just use some 3 bond or hi temp silicon, it will be sweet.

thanks for the replys, at least i now know rather than just putting them back together & having to strip it all down again, i can now get to work putting it all back together and go for a :ride: :)
