2-Stroke Expansion Chamber Dent Removal Freezer Method Help!

Since I'm waiting for my new exhaust joint pipe to come in, I thought I'd get rid of the dent that's bothering me.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to any blow torches or anything like that, so, the freezer method looks ideal for me.

Question... exactly how much water do I put in it?

I've been told to make sure that I check up on it every 15-20 minutes after it starts freezing to make sure the seams aren't going to burst. Any input?

how is your pipe sealed? is it welded?

If it is a stock, stamped pipe, be careful. It takes quite a while to freeze, at 0 degrees Fahrenheit, like 6 to 8 hours.

It's an FMF Gnarly pipe. So do I seal the ends?

Yeah, I've done the dry ice method on my mom's car to remove a small dent on the hood. But since the hood is obviously more flexible than an expansion chamber, I didn't think there would be much effect.

I'll leave it out in the sun or blow dry it to get it hot, then use the dry ice.
