I have a 2000 KTM 250 EXC running an FMF Gnarly pipe with the factory silencer. I am thinking of putting on an aftermarket silencer (FMF) on it, does anyone have some input on which silencer is the best option for tight eastern woods riding?

We did some testing this weekend on the pro circuit SA and on the 04 250 with stock pipe there is a loss on the bottom and a harder hitting midrange on up. Makes the bike a bit more of a rever. We didn't like it.

I'm running the FMF powercore II with great results on my 01 250 exc. It reduced my spooginess by a lot as well. However I don't need the S/A since I ride on closed course trails.
