I am contimplating selling my 2000 200exc and waiting to replace it after I have recovered from my back problems. I am hoping that the recovery won't take too long, but this could be a good time to sell my bike since I won't be able to do much riding any how.

My old 2000 spec sheet shows the 200exc weighing about nine pounds more than the 2002 specs that I have seen. True??? What about the suspension? My 2000 has been revalved for me but I have heard vague rumors that the 2002 suspension is better out of the box than the 2000 suspension. Any details?? Any information regarding these two different years would be helpful.

Thanks,
Neal

I have both a 2000 and a 2002. To be really honest I can't tell that much difference. The 2002 feels a little stronger but I have / am having fits trying to get it jetted right. The suspension felt a little bit harsher than the 2000, I rode the 2000 stock but ended up having the 2002 redone. You can't go wrong with a new bike, but if your looking for a huge difference in power or suspension IMO you won't get it.

Of couse these are my opinions so others will vary.
