2001 and 2002 cr125 diff.

WIll the motor from a 2002 cr125 bolt into a 2001 cr125. Im pretty sure it will, even though they changed the frame. I know the cylinders will swap, just didnt know if the whole motor would.

The answer is YES the motor bolts in fine. They changed the coil in 02 though. So you must use a 2001 coil. Just wire in a quick disconnect to the power on the 01. Really simple. Wires are the same color and everything.
