is that engine output or power to the rear wheel? Don't see how a 125 could generate 43p to the rear wheel with only a needle change? 43 hp engine output is easy to believe.

Sorry to burst your bubble but you aint doin 205mph on a hayabusa unless you have about 3grand into the engine and a 140lb rider.

Mine had 180hp at the rear wheel and would top out a corrected 194mph with a 220 lb rider on it.

Weight should not significantly affect the top speed of the bike. It is pretty much all aero drag.

And, I don't think it's a good assumption a 140 pounder has better aerodynamics than a 220.

My buddy has a 2001 CR250 that he swears up and down has 53hp at the wheel, stock. My 03 YZ250 has 44hp at the wheel and after he jumped off it, he proceeded to say my bike was faster. I don't think even this years CRF or YZF even topped 50 hp on the dyno. Does anyone know the ACTUAL hp numbers??
Fast forward to the future 2019! The actual flywheel horse power ratings matter, why? When any engine is tested, it recieves its h.p. ratings at the engine dyno. Slapping the whole vehicle on a dyno discredits the engines actual horse power rating. Since the 80's the actual horse power rating for most 2fiddy's were a honest 50 plus. So when you got buy a 2 stroke, 250, its horse power is 50 as it sits. If some know it all says it only makes 38 or 42 hp, roll up a news paper and smack them on their nose, and show them a copy of this....52 hp for the famous Jeff Ward's works bike, 52 hp for the 89 stock kx 250, newer bikes could make more hp at the fly wheel. If you still ride 250 two strokes, then you should be happy, hell it makes more hp than a old school vw engine, lol!
