2001 CR250 rear shock on 1991 CR250

Will the rear shock from a 2001 CR250 fit and work good on my 91 CR250? Thanks.

Don't know, but seeing as Honda changed the frame and linkage several times between '91 and '01, I'd be surprised if it fit and worked right.

Up to 96, maybe.

Why note look at the dimensions first? After that if it looks like it will physically fit then consider what the linkage ratios are on both bikes. If the same continue to go if not then it will need some internal and/or spring changes...
