2002 KTM 520sx ???

Looking at an 02 520sx is excellant shape.
Don't know much about the KTM thumpers. Is this year 520sx a good year or a good bike?
any general info. would help.

Mike, you might want to jump over tio ktmtalk.com, if they can't help, don't know who could.

I have an 03 525 SX, I don't know what differences exist between the 520 and 525, but the one thing the same is the motor size, both are 510.4 cc's.

A 520 will have less resell, simply due to KTM no longer marketing/selling a 520.

I have ridden both and they are very different. I have a 03 525sx and my friend has a 02 520sx. Motor makes power differently, his bike 02 has more low grunt mine 03 has more top end. His feals like it ways 20lbs more and won't turn. His has been very dependable, no major mechanical, should be pretty resonably priced.
