I need some help. Bought a 2002 RM250. Bought a Lectron carb for it and just went to install it. Come to find out it has an ECU controlled solenoid on the carb completely unfamiliar with that or it’s function. Can I just disconnect the wires to the carb and install the lectron and leave it unplugged?? Thanks a lot for any advice with this I really appreciate it!

I suspect you don't need that hooked up due to how the Lectron works but a call to them would be the best way to get an answer. The solenoid meters fuel into the carb depending on the demand. The other connection you are showing in the other picture is the throttle positioning sensor that changes the mapping depending on the position. Not sure how the Lectron manages that but I know guys that disconnect the throttle position sensor on day one with no issues.

Again, I'd call the Lectron guys.
