- I go riding with my friends on weekends and we race to the pit and then see who can take the biggest jump and then race back. Its mostly sandy where I ride. I have a 1992 kx250 and I want something newer.

since you like to jump the 450's are really easy to jump.they fly very predictable and the yamaha450 is a solid bike.but if you plan on trail riding mare than 70% i'd recommend the kx.

Tough choice. I have an '04 YZ450F. For the kind of play-riding you're talking about, I think I'd rather have the KX.

I was riding my friends 04 KTM 450 sx and I really like it.

I think I will keep my old kx250 and get a 04 yz450f i was looking at.

This way I will have a spare bike when I break one.
