If you do a search Fred T. has one and gave a short ride report on his. If you can't find it you might want to post in the Michigan Trail Riders, or look in there.

I just got mine last week and havent been out for a serious ride yet other than practicing on my home made grass track but I like it. It carves the corners at least 100X better than my 03 450EXC did! The power is very smooth. It feels slow but I know it is not. I think I am going to try the other PV spring that came with the bike for a little more "kick".

I will report back tomorrow after I get it out in the single track Friday afternoon.

ok thanks, for what its worth I heard you can get more out of the motor if you change to a fmf power core silencer (modified) and change the piston & shave the flywheel but right for now I am more concerned with the handling traits of that bike (thinking about buying one). thanks DW from rockford MI.

DT, I am from rockford Mi, yes I have a little place I ride at but mostly for testing out set ups.Most of my riding is north of us on single track woods only and I also hare scramble too. I am riding a 03' crf 450 set up for HS & woods and I am kinda looking at the 04' exc 250 ktm not sure yet though, (the crf is a really great bike) if you ever want to jump in with us for a ride just let me know, there is a few guys in cedar that i ride with too (from novis to haulin a#% it really dont matter we all wait up for one another at some point and we allways have fun! thanks DW
