does anyone know how the KX250f, RM250F, and CR250F compare the the YZF?? me and my friends are doing alot of debating on whether or not the YZ is still at the top in performance.
Does anyone know a difference between the kxf and the rmz besides the color/graphics/shrouds? they both look almost exactly the same in the article in cycle news.
Well, if both are running Kayaba, that's a disappointment. There should be something that distinguishes these two bikes besides the color, shroud shape, and graphics. I think these bikes look great, but if they're just going to put out basically the exact same damned bikes, why not just stop screwing around and do a complete merger.
that makes me kinda mad, the rmz should run the showa suspension. i have an rm 125 right now and have ridden other bikes with kyb suspension and just love the showa. haaaa! oh well, if they want to make two of the same exact bikes just let them i guess.

Looks to me that the Yamaha is the ONLY bike in the heap.
Is it just me, or does is seem funny how Yamaha just dropped the 250-f from the sky with no hoopla. The Honda has been hyped, overhyped, and hyped again. Has anyone seen one? I haven't. Has anyone seen a Zook or Kawi? Again, I haven't.
Why speculate; wait another couple of years and these bikes might show up at a local track or two. Until then; comparing an existing bike to a non-existing bike would seem to be folly.
Jon - don't forget that the '04's will be coming out in the next couple of months, so I would not be surprised to see all four brands available soon. And, as far as Honda goes, yes there is a lot of hoopla surrounding the new bike but look at how successful the CR450 has been. I have no doubt the 250 will be great, too.
