2005 klx 300 mods

i have a 05 kawi klx 300r and ive done the crankcase mod and tried to remove my air box lid and all my bike does is fall on its face it wont run right at all. what can i do to fix this so i can get more power with my bike. i still have the cv carb on it and stock exhaust.

put a dyno jet kit in and take off the but plug off the exhaust
