You fell and broke the lever? :yikes: I hope you didnt scratch it up too bad. :ugg: How much better, if any, does the 05 feel over the 01 performance wise? Mike

Engine wise, not too much difference (I am no RC, Hawks or Bubba), but everywhere else seems to be better, it could be that my 01 has been ridden for about 4 years too and is a tad lose all over. Plus I put an Michelen S-12 on my 01 and it sux for the trails we ride. The 739 that came on my 05 just hooks up so much better. I am keeping the 01 as a backup. I need a new clutch lever and a set of grips, but that won't keep me from riding tomorrow. :D

i think the pipes will fit all the way back to 1999- they havent changed the engine much since then really, so i bet if a pipe was good on your 01, it will be good on the 05.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder steve (at least thats what the wife tells me).

Besides, i hated my YZ and i love my RM, and more importantly, the RM is cheaper by a LOT of bling.
