I am about ready to assemble new valves and spring on my 2006 CRF250R. Got everything I need, except a memory.

I unpackaged the valve springs and noticed there are 2 shorter ones and 2 longer. I can't remember which package it came out of.

Keeping all the prior valves and springs in order, the EXHAUST valve springs seem to be the longer ones and the INTAKE seem to be the shorter ones.

I wanted to confirm long versus short and which valves before putting this all back together. If you have the spring free length for intake and exhaust, that would help too.

Thanks.

I have two new stock springs here, but no mic to give you an exact. Looks like maybe a few thousandts past an inch and a half.

The exhaust valve springs are longer than the intake valve springs.

Exhaust free length (service limit) = 1.66"
Intake free length (service limit) = 1.52"

Thanks for all the help, and so quickly.

I did notice that 2 springs have WHITE paint on them, and 2 have a GREYish color on one end. The WHITE ones seem to be longer.
