i ride a 1999 cr250r and i got a chance to ride an mx four stroke today, it was a 2007 husky 250 tc. it was nice. the power was so smooth when it came on compared to the 250 2 stroke that i ride. im not sure if it was enough power though. any way i have been thinking about buying a crf250r or a crf450r for a while now. how would the crf250r compare to the husky....i heard that the husky is marketed as a track bike but its more like a trail bike. so, im curious how the crf250r would compare to this. im not sure about buying a four stroke yet but, i would like some info on them so.... any input would be great thanks for any and all help.

You need to give more info on the type of riding etc but if you're confident on a 250 2 stroke and you weigh more than 140lbs you better test ride a 450, you'll love it.

I agree.I'm in the same situation looking for a thumper. rode both crf's,I'm going with a 450. I weigh 205lbs and plan on riding woods and mx occasionaly. The 250f just didn't do it for me.And yes,I rode 2 crf 250f's,both 07's.
