i bought a kx 450f knowing the crank was shot, went back with reman crank and stock piston , to me it seems like it has no compression by the feel of the kick , timing is dead on and and I can kick it about 8 times it'll backfire give it a little gas and it just back fires less than 8 kicks , Any ideas ? I'm stumped also it only seems to be firing about every three kicks

What you are describing sounds like the cam timing is incorrect.

I figured out the there 0 lash and I think that's my problem

The valves never closing properly would certainly do it.
