hey i have a 2002 yz 125 and i am going to sell that and buy a 4 stroke either 250 or 450. I was wondering if the 450 would be a big difference power wise from the 125, and how much bigger it actually is? I'm leaning more towards the 450 because i have heard that the 250 is not much different from the 125, is that true?? thanks

1) your physical size (both height and weight are important)
I am 6,1 and i weigh 160lbs
2) How physical / aggressive are you ?
I just started riding at tracks but i go for every jump.
3) what do you plan to ride- MX/SX tracks, woods, fields with friends or ?????
MX/SX tracks
4) Do you have any riding experience?
Yes many years trailriding, started with a pw80 and eventually moved into a yz125 after building jumps in our backyard.
5) Do you think you will race ?
No probably not.
6) Are you mechanically inclined and will you be doing your own bike work?
Only basic maintenence(air filter, oil, forks, lubrication, etc...)
7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke)?
Has to be 4 stroke, i ride a yamaha right now but i have no preference.
8) Do you have a dealer close by your home that you might use and what brand(s) does he carry?
Yes, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki
9) How much do you plan to spend on a bike?
$3200 and under
10) anything else that you think would help form an opinion
I want something noticeably more powerful than the yz125 because it is starting to bore me.
