400SX Pro Circuit T4 update and new quesion!!

Installed my new T4 exhaust and got to do a moto yesterday and it rocks. Power seems better everywere with more overev. Installation was about 10 minutes and very painless. Overall finish of the product is A+++.

The only thing is it's real LOUD!!! That's fine for a moto track or on private land but I like to ride in some state forests every once and a while and this noise level would not be acceptable.

Does anybody have any experience with Pro Circuit's quiet core for this muffler? Any performance or jetting changes with the core installed?

Good choice Coach, glad to hear you like the pipe. I'd like to hear of anyone who's tried the quiet core too. I would hate to have to put the stocker back on for trail rides. Please let me know what you find out. Thanks Erik

I've got the T4 with Quiet Core, and love it. It's still not "quiet" like a stock XR400, but is probably the best compromise for the 400SX - no regrets.
