The AMA District 14 in conjunction with the Michigan Departmentof Natural Resources, The Cycle Conservation Club and LansingMotorcycle Club are proud to announce the 4th Annual Arbor Day

Tree Planting will be held Sunday, April 27th, 2008.
We will meet at 9:00 am at the Leetsville ORV staging area on CountyRoad 612, approximately two miles east of M-72 in Kalkaska.

We planted trees at Leetsville three years ago and you will get a chance to see how the seedlings have progressed. The DNR is still working on the location of the 2008 Arbor Day planting, but we will use the staging area as a carpool lot.
Last year we were done by noon. Anyone looking for a ride on Sunday will be invited to participate in the "fun job" of promoting an enduro event - ride the loop and tear down arrows. Team Stephenson was a tremendous help last year - thanks again.
We are also looking to have a second tree planting event on May 18th in the Cadillac area. As details develop, I will pass them along.
The effort from these events creates a tremendous amount of goodwill with the DNR. I hope you can join us!!
