'78 Yamaha XT 500

Hello all, what can you tell me about the '78 XT500? I have seen a picture, it looks clean, I am going to look it over for real next weekend.
this particular bike was setup for ice racing,and flatrack, it has a hi lift cam, aftermarket exhaust, and 53mm Mikuni.
Any info at all is appreciated.

it does have the 36mm carb, sorry if you were offended:think .
I did buy the bike, it is a '79 XT500, hasn't run in 6yrs., but it only needs a charged battery, fresh gas and new oil and I'm sure it'll run like a champ.
everything is original, the plastic is barely scratched and the original frame paint is not worn off, it still shines. only 4,000 miles on the OD. the original motor is there, but a modified version is in the frame.
I am excited about cleaning it up and making it legal so I can putt around the back roads.
