here and I was hoping it was a vintage helmet cam like Roger D wore when he did a lap at Carlsbad for ABC's Wide World of Sports back in the day . . . remember the big ol' camera bolted to the side of his helmet, and the brick on the other side for balance?

Excellent race, except for the 1 spode. ARMA races should have jumps from the day. Them first 2 laps felt like they short landed every table. Once he got going, there was still a couple, and 1 huge jump! There was 1 time he over jumped, was worse than casing all them jumps!

Cool vid!

Nice helmet camera work! He keeps his head locked in place very well, so not only is he fast, he makes a great camera platform.

This wont be a problem in the future. I am a Racetech dealer and we are in the process of converting the shock to a new RT piston and the forks to FULL cartridge.
Belief me with good suspension Robert will haul the mail.
On his modern bike he flies.

Ha, The 370 I have came with the 400 front end, with a 150mm brake. I still think its feeble at best. 4 to 1500 for really good suspenders, AHRMA legal? I do not even see that many races around here. They are some other organization or the other, with different rules, blah. So why not get a rolling 2000 rm and clobber the 370 in it? Class? I would run it in any local ama race! The motor looks barely broke in on the inside, I have put more time on it screwing around. And it rips! Loss of hp due to running hot, pffft! In a 10~15 minute race?

We have 2 choices with our local races. We can run AHRMA regionals or CALVMX. Around here AHRMA is slowly fading out, mainly because of the no mini bike racing rules they have.
At the race last weekend we had over 160 riders and well over 200 entries. Almost all races were full gates.
On your 370 did they install longer rear shocks to compensate for the longer forks? If you take the time to arc in the brakes they will work really well. the drum can also be turned to bring it back to spec. An out of round or groved drum will ruin braking. Also lengthing the brake arm 5mm or so will help.

Take the time to set up your RM and you will be suprised at how well you can do against modern bikes.
At the 2007 24hrs of Glen Helen we finished 2nd 40+ expert on a 84 YZ490. :ride:

Rear shocks, no schrader valve in the remote reservoirs. The swingarm(steel) has buddy pegs on it. So far the aluminum ones I have been looking at need extensive welding, and I am iffy about that holding up. One with the bend in it would be sweet, so would the price? Stock length is 15+. I have seen them all the way up to 18. I ran the 17 3/4 fox on my 79 cr250. I can get some of them in rebuild able condition for maybe under 200. Works and a few others are about the same price. But, I know the fox will do what I will need. No welds in the frame though! I have a set of excel rims, 21&19, wonder how that 19 would work, more better tire choices.
