I'm looking to replace my stolen 2001 KX250 with a YZ, KX, or CR from the 90's. Any opinions on what years to avoid of any specific bikes, any replies would be appreciated as I want a 'new to me' bike ASAP.

IMHO, I'd look for a '98 KX250. Besides the fact that I absolutely love mine, a guy I met at a track had an '01 and when he saw mine, he said that he wished he still had his '98. He said that he much preferred the '98 motor and the only real fix that the '98 needed was the sus.(which Jeremy can fix quite nicely. Just ask my bike:confused: )

[i rode my friends 98 kx250 and all stock it was a rocket!!, except the suspension was wayyyyy to stiff for me and the headhsake was bad i guess i couoldnt handle a 250 at the time but now i can handle a 250 good,i rode the 2000 yz250 it was also all stock and out of all the 250's ive ridden i liked the yz, it just ripped, i also rode a 97 cr250 it was good suspension wise but the motor lacked top-end too much
