90's kx cylinders

What years were the KX250s cylinder unable to be bored? And how much is it to resleeve as opposed to boring a cylinder? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure all KX cylinders were plated in the 90's maybe even the 80's. My 84 KDX 200 was plated along with my 91 KX 250. If you cylinder is not to damaged having to replated is the way to go. The piston to cylinder is perfect and it still retains the cool characteristics of the original cylinder.
