I replaced the metal clutch plates in my 93 Yam WR 250. now the clutch actuator is coming up short. it seems that the clutch plates caused the width of the clutch to increase slightly and now the rod is a little short. i have found no way to adjust the play between the actuator, push rod and the outside of the clutch. i am sure my rod is a little worn and so is the actuator. but on my 86 yz 250, there was a nut and bolt arrangement on the clutch to take up the free play. do i need to buy a new push rod and actuator?????? this seems like a poor mechanical arrangement.
