96 or 97 rm250 leaking oil from bottom end into the head

why is my 96 or 97 rm250 leaking oil from the bottom end into the top end? everything on the top end is good, but i dont have the stock carb but i dont see what that would have to do with oil geting into the head. and will i have to split the case to fix this? it's getting alot of oil up there and i dont know why and i need to get back to riding sometime soon :bang: lmao. please let me know what i can do

Honestly, what you are describing doesn't make much sense. Where is the oil on the head? Can you take pics?

if so, prolly the right side crank seal(clutch side) that is gone letting oil in.
