I have a 98 cr250 that is set up for woods riding and higher elevations. I moved to L.A. from Oregon for my job and want to set my bike up for the desert (gordons well, buttercup, and glamis). My friends mainly go to buttercup and gordons, i'm not sure if the elevation changes for glamis or not but gordons and buttercup is where I'll probably spend the most riding time. I have a fatty pipe and turbine core 2 silencer w/the spark arrester and a weighted flywheel. I wanted to know what jets work best for my bike in the desert. Should I get rid of the weighted flywheel and go with a different set-up? Basically, what can I do to get my bike dialed in for the desert. Any help would be much appreciated as the desert season isn't to far away. Thanks.
